Ｖｏｌ．２１ Ｔｈｅ Ｐｏｗｅｒ Ｓｔａｔｉｏｎ 「Ｓｏｍｅ Ｌｉｋｅ Ｉｔ Ｈｏｔ」

　少し前の更新（Ｖｏｌ．１３）に関連した話題で、久しぶりに洋楽を聴くようになりました。といっても、今流行の曲ではなく、僕が中学生の頃に聴いていた曲ばかり。
　中学生の頃、一番大好きだったのは、Ｗｈａｍ！（ワム！）。「Ｂａｄ Ｂｏｙｓ」、「Ｃａｒｅｌｅｓｓ Ｗｈｉｓｐｅｒ」、「Ｌａｓｔ Ｃｈｒｉｓｔｍａｓ」、「Ｆｒｅｅｄａｍ」、「Ｅｖｅｒｙｔｈｉｎｇ Ｓｈｅ Ｗａｎｔｓ」などで、他の曲も好きです。
　と、ここまで書いてきて、不意に同じブログの「東海・旅の足跡 ２」には、英字のタイトル（小見出し）がほとんどないことに気が付きました。
　冒頭の話題に戻って、Ｗｈａｍ！（ワム！）と同じ頃に流行した曲を今、聴いているのですが、中でもお気に入りは、Ｔｈｅ Ｐｏｗｅｒ Ｓｔａｔｉｏｎ（パワー・ステーション）の「Ｓｏｍｅ Ｌｉｋｅ Ｉｔ Ｈｏｔ」。聴いているだけで、不思議と元気になります。

　他にも、Ｓｔｅｖｉｅ Ｗｏｎｄｅｒ（スティーヴィー・ワンダー）の「ＰａｒｔＴｉｍｅ Ｌｏｖｅｒ」、Ｃｕｌｔｕｒｅ Ｃｌｕｂ（カルチャー・クラブ）の「Ｍｉｓｓ Ｍｅ Ｂｌｉｎｄ」、Ｙｅｓ（イエス）の「Ｏｗｎｅｒ Ｏｆ Ａ Ｌｏｎｅｌｙ Ｈｅａｒｔ」などを繰り返し聴いています。

　以下は余談。
　村田和人さんの歌を初めて聴いた（「一本の音楽」）のも、中学生の頃で、今も村田さんの歌を聴けば、元気になります。「Ｓｔａｙ Ｔｈｅ Ｙｏｕｎｇ」ということで。
